Mark Sellers, CEO and Founder

Mark Sellers is CEO of Breakthrough Sales Performance™, a sales training and consulting company he founded in 1996.

Breakthrough is hired by B2B companies around the world to get their sales teams to qualify better and faster, win more sales, and build healthier pipelines. Breakthrough does this by providing enterprise wide sales training, coaching, and consulting services. Clients include Danaher, ITW, Bemis, RONA, West Pharmaceutical Services, Sartomer TOTAL, Deli Express, Microchip Technology, and many others.

The foundation of Breakthrough’s sales methodology is an innovative, game-changing approach of selling to the customer’s buying process. Mark is a thought leader in this approach. Breakthrough’s methodology was introduced in Mark’s first book The Funnel Principle published in 2008. The Funnel Principle was named a Top Ten Best Sales Book to Read by Selling Power magazine.

Mark is a frequent blogger, guest speaker for webinars, and contributor to sales industry mediums such as Selling Power magazine, Customer Think, and the American Business Journals newspapers.

Bill Grubbe, Channel Partner

Bill Grubbe is president of WJG Consulting LLC based in Columbus, Ohio and is an authorized Sales Partner for Breakthrough Sales Performance™.

WJG Consulting specializes in sales process solutions, key account retention, & management consulting for Fortune 1000 business to business clients. Many of them are in the food service and facilities industries. Bill has facilitated training & led sales process improvement initiatives for thousands of participants in over twenty countries.

Bill is a former Miller Heiman sales consultant.

Prior to his consulting practice, Bill held positions of increasing responsibilities in sales & operations in the services industry. He was a Vice President of Sales for Compass Group and later led the global roll out and implementation of a major sales process and client retention program for ISS Ag based in Copenhagen, Denmark.


Steve Gran, Channel Partner

Steve Gran is one of the founders and managing partners of founX™. founX™ provides a solution for any organization seeking a foundational management system that increases individual and organizational execution. Steve is also a Senior Partner with Zero Degree Consulting and manages the Dublin, Ohio office. Zero Degree is a business management consulting organization that specializes in strategic direction setting, building, and maintaining Operating Excellence Management Systems. Zero Degree works with organizations that are at all levels of their operating excellence journey to increase the flow of cash, products, services, and information. Zero Degree is a licensed distributor of founX™.

Steve started his Operating Excellence (Lean & Six Sigma) development with Pilkington Glass, in which he achieved Master Black Belt Certification, held senior operations positions, and also managed organizational deployment of Operating Excellence in manufacturing, supply chain and transactional environments. Steve has traveled the world as a speaker, consultant, coach, author and educator.

In his consulting and coaching role Steve has led several organizational implementations and transformations utilizing the Operating Excellence Methodology, coached and managed multiple improvement projects, and created and conducted organizational development initiatives teaching Operating Excellence principles, systems, and tools to organizations in multiple industries. In this work Steve also created the Meeting COMPASS® which has evolved into founX™.

As an educator Steve works with The Ohio State University as a project coach and instructor for The Masters in Operating Excellence (MBOE) and Executive Six Sigma Black Belt Programs. Steve has also taught at St. Louis University, Texas Christian University, and Georgia Tech University.

Steve has recently co-authored his first book entitled, People: A Leader's Day-To-Day Guide to Building, Managing, and Sustaining Lean Organizations.

Steve complements his years of experience with a Business Administration Degree from The Ohio State University majoring in Transportation and Logistics. Steve lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Laura and their four children.


Steve Cole, Channel Partner

Steve brings more than 25 years of Executive Sales, Leadership and Planning experience to Breakthrough SalesPerformance. He has successfully developed and executed new Sales Planning/Trade Marketing strategies for consumer packaged goods companies such as Pillsbury, Borden, Evenflo, Nautilus, and WhiteWave Foods. Steve was also a Consulting Partner for ArchPoint where he developed Sales Plans for emerging companies and has recently developed a Sales go-to-market plan for a couple different start-up technology companies, Envisiontel and Ajubeo.
